On the Perimeter of a Frozen Bay... (Jokulsarlon)

2 travelers at Jokulsarlon who arrived together. the guy in the foreground heads back to the car while the other (in a blue coat) continues to walk the perimeter.
i realized that i liked this shot in duotone (with some tinting) better than in color -- however the person in the middle ground nearly disappears into the rocks when all the color goes -- so i had to recolor his coat as a visual aid... ;)

Fantastic! Love the angle that creates such a great depth in this photo, lovely curves and the detail of that man dressed in blue is a real eye-catcher!

Good selective saturation, so perfect for the blue jacket within a monotone landscape. Nice shot. I love that big '3' through the center of the frame.

Ah that gift to find the 2d man in the foreground when the image appeared on my screen ! And that almost B&W with a hint of delicious colors ! Look at those sharp details and feeling of immensity ! Another GREAT one, man !

Love the vast expanse that you have captured here. The B & W treatment really brings out the texture of the mountainside, while the selective coloring adds a nice "punch" to your composition.

Wonderful picture . Amazing depth in it . It looks like a BW image, but I am still not sure because of the blue jacket :)) Or this is selective color ! I am confused :) Anyway - fabulous shot !

wonderful composition! that broken line created by the frozen shore is quite effective in leading the eyes of the viewer from the subject to the magnificent background and across the frame! excellent!
