Inquisitive BystandersPosted by dj.tigersprout (New York City, United States) on 16 July 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. our morning in Hofn was pretty cold with a stiff wind that was low to the ground. i remember hopping in and out of the car rubbing my hands that were very cold even though i was wearing 2 sets of gloves. unfortunately due to the cold temperature, many of the photos from these 20 minutes we were with the horses ended up rather blurry... i must have been shaking quite a bit! we were on our way down to Jokulsarlon which was luckily much warmer and without wind! these beautiful icelandic horses stood close by and watched us for a good several minutes before walking over to be petted. gorgeous creatures, very sensitive, very kind -- and i just love that shaggy hair!! someone could open a hair salon for horses in iceland -- and make MILLIONS!!! ;) and good news!!! i have just received word that i am gainfully employed -- my full time work starts in 2 weeks time -- the third stage in my move to nyc is finally complete!! :) more details to come as i get them! all work protected by Creative Commons
