another of my recent 2 week processing tribute to ansel adams. this was simply amazing territory!!! if you have the chance and the funds -- iceland awaits...!!!

@Mirko Herzner: thanks Mirko!! :) yes -- i think i am only as interested in mimicking his style as to learn what he knew and felt about black and white, and masterfully so... i fairly intend to represent mostly color photos -- or at least i believe that is what my future mainly entails... i guess we shall see! :) cheers!

beautiful lovely landscape but the skies are overexposed. wished you took it using RAW format instead of JPEG, that way you can balance the exposure. or try HDR next time :)

@shoti: hehe -- thanks mate, i do want to hdr at some point. these skies aren't overexposed though -- that is snow and ice fog. :)

Beautiful capture! I like how that mountain sticks out among all the white that surrounds it. It's an area that looks very desolate and an area you don't want to be very long. Good use of "thirds."
