a Lonely Stretch of Road, Southern Iceland

have been busy processing again -- had taken a natural break for the last 2 weeks as i am getting settled in my new home. i actually moved rooms on the third week (1 week ago) switching to a much more efficient layout that is downstairs and quieter. i am now feeling pretty good -- i love my living situation and the people i live with. it is young, cool and easy -- and it is bringing me back to life slowly but surely!!! a perfect place for creativity -- i have lucked out in a big way!!!

here is a piece i worked on this weekend -- one of three shots that i just am crazy about. photoshop feels different to me and opposed to feeling kinda overwhelming, it is now starting to feel like a good friend -- in fact i made a silly but critical error this weekend on a photo and ended up deleting it after a good deal of hard work. i was bummed for a few hours took a break and then came back later on and reprocessed the image with even better results than i had previous achieved!! it was a wonderful feeling...(!)

:)

as for my next trip -- i have my eyes set on returning to iceland this december... what a beautiful and magical place -- and in the winter: it is devoid of tourists -- you can have it all to yourself!! once you leave the city it quickly becomes just you, the beautiful cold, the stunning scenery and a lonely stretch of road...
