Bill Jennings from (Bay Area Northern Calif), United StatesYou are one creative soul - this is a fantastic shot showing a party in action. Well done. 4 Jun 2009 5:12am callemie from BelgiumI don't how you did it but I like it!!!!!! 4 Jun 2009 5:34am Yvonne Simons from Tilburg, NetherlandsA rooftop party! Yes i like it!! very creative DJ!! 4 Jun 2009 5:47am Mirko Herzner from GermanyWell... In most cases I would not be a fan of this kind of processing. Still, with this party shot it works out nicely... 4 Jun 2009 6:04am dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaSuper processing - for a moment there I thought maybe I had had one too many :) 4 Jun 2009 6:04am grouser from Ludlow, United KingdomInteresting use of 'solarisation', at least I guess that's what it is ;) 4 Jun 2009 10:28am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaSizzler of a party...gives me the impression of 'hurry up and wait' very brilliant finish Dj :) 4 Jun 2009 11:06am Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandGreat photo! Normally I'm not a fan of this kind of post processing but here it works very well! 4 Jun 2009 11:27am Ken from United StatesLove the composition and post processing, Jaycee. 4 Jun 2009 11:50am willow from Chelsea, United StatesVery cool effect! I like the reflections and sense of movement, too. 4 Jun 2009 12:36pm MARIANA from waterloo, CanadaNOw this is an interesting processing . Funny effects ! Love them ! Cool reflection too ! 4 Jun 2009 2:37pm MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyVery spacey processing, really cool effect(s)! I see you have much fun with Photoshop. :-) 4 Jun 2009 3:40pm Howard F. from South Pasadena, Calif., United StatesThis looks like one of those architectural presentation boards. I recall the rule is that you have to put many human figures at different depth to show scale of human within the architecture. Usually in multi-color, but bw has nice touch to it. Cool process. 4 Jun 2009 4:58pm Mandy Provan from Johannesburg, South AfricaA very cool effect!!! Nice reflections in the pool?? 4 Jun 2009 5:19pm @Mandy Provan: thanks Mandy!! we had just had a 20 minute thunderstorm -- so we had gone inside to stay dry... then it passed and when we came back there were giant 'lakes' on the roof... kind of made it interesting... of course most of us got wet in some way!!! :) MrsAmber from West Wickham, United KingdomGreat effect..hope you weren't too bored to resort to taking pictures at the party! Lovely. 4 Jun 2009 5:20pm @MrsAmber: hehe -- no, but it had just poured and the light was very beautiful -- so we got back out onto the rooftop... and i decided it was time to do some work!!! :) oncho from granada, SpainEres un artista no solo con la maquina........con muy buen gusto y original 4 Jun 2009 6:42pm peter from new york, United Statesi love this rooftop scene man! kinda feels like an 80s music video but cooler. great stuff jaycee! 4 Jun 2009 6:49pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaGreat grungy processing, brilliant shot, nice one. 4 Jun 2009 7:38pm bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaSuch a cool world you have created...the proverbially melting pot that is our society. Great! 4 Jun 2009 8:18pm Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesAn interesting and creative way to process this capture. The reflection seen of the people in the background first made me think there may have been puddles on the roof-top after a storm rolled through, particularly with the dark gray sky. :-) 4 Jun 2009 8:59pm manel from Girona, Spain¿ Es una solarización real, o un proceso posterior de programa ?. De la forma que sea, felicidades dj. 4 Jun 2009 9:16pm Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, BC, CanadaIt looks like solarization from the good old days in the darkroom. That sure takes me back a few decades. 5 Jun 2009 1:41am akarui from Kagoshima, JapanWell I come back for the right thumbnails may be it is because you are using arrows links on the picture isn't it. I haven't notice that before. 5 Jun 2009 2:28am Laurent from Lyon, Francevery nice post processing. But not only. I like how is organised the fore/back ground of people and the nice reflection in the water. 7 Jun 2009 4:32am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesWow. Looks like you're having fun. NYC would seem to have a lot of potential for fun, but how can anyone afford to live there on less than $250K per year? 8 Jun 2009 4:14pm |
