@Mirko Herzner: cheers Mirko!! yeah, 800 means Arctic Circle in winter, lol. :) thanks for the honest feedback too -- i am pushing for a bit more of a pop art feel with many of these shots. trying to harness the palpable energy that pulses out of this city. i like the struggle between depth of visible space and the pure flatness of neon color. i find it striking -- and part of the reason i moved back here -- to feel that unexplainable thrill that is NYC!! :)

Terrific reflection. Unsure about the sky. For me it pulls the eye away from the centre of interest.

The sharp, clear lines accentuate the reflections; that is just exquisite. For us old B&W film photographers, high ISO doesn't phase us.

Every city should have an orange sky such as this...perhaps you need to take a trip back to the west coast and paint mine as well :)
Love this shot DJ, the framing of the buildings and reflections at that angle is just wonderful!

The image shows perfectly the concentration of huge buildings. The orange sky comes as a relief.

Love the reflections and interplay of lines and patterns... well spotted Jaycee! Somehow, I find that the digital grain of the high ISO did add to the atmosphere!:-) Beautiful cityscape capture and interesting treatment!!!
