Adolescent Females, Vigeland Sculpture Park, Oslo

the next 9 pics are a close out of the norway portion of my 2008 winter trip. these last shots are all from Vigeland Sculpture park in Oslo -- a very beautiful and well laid out park with some of the finest modern figure sculpture i have ever seen in my entire life 'career'... :)

as it is, my current fantasy 'holiday' in new york is coming to a close -- this week i will begin the process of looking for work! :( but of course, even though there is nothing better than getting up after 10am and doing whatever i want all day long, i am actually very excited to see what i am able to find in the world of photography -- so bring it on!!!

and even though it is worth it to mention that i will lucky enough to have some of my pictures published in print over the next few weeks (!!!), so far there are no actual work prospects thus far -- and it looks as if i may need to take a lighting course (or two) before i am actually taken seriously!!! :P

i was hoping to move here and learn all that stuff on the job, but as there are a million studios in new york, 90% of all the work is inside in perfectly lit studios... and they expect you to already know all of that stuff. no matter, a start is a start is a start!!! i simply have to find and then follow the yellow brick road! :P

after i close out the last of these photos i can begin to post what i have been working on for the last 2 weeks... shots of NYC!!! so stay tuned!! i believe the first of the nyc shots is already pre-posted for the 17th of april, of course i don't want to spoil it so won't mention what it is of until the day arrives... however, i doubt any of you will be too surprised once you see the subject matter for yourself!

i'll be frank and state that i don't know how much i will be around this week for commenting -- however i will try and blog nightly a bit about the daily experiences of re-moving to new york city, and all the surprises and pitfalls i endure in chasing wildly after this 'ridiculous' photography dream of mine!!! but regardless of how it all turns out in the end, i think there is some considerable material of interesting nature that i can digest and share with all of you just by living through this unfolding journey i am on!!
