Neat warm fuzzy shot. I love the alfalfa strand of mane - bad hair day look, and i guess it all helps him keep warm, much like red gloves!

Cool, you got to meet one of the Icelandic close up and personal ;) These horses are perfect for Iceland, very tough and great stamina (or so I think I have read somewhere :)) Looks like the Icelandic are leaving the country now too due to the crisis, which is a pity, but understandable too.
Love your shot though... hair and all ;)

I haven't visited your blog for a while. This picture is so beautiful, It is technically excellent and it conveys such a warm feeling of tenderness between the animal and the person wearing those read gloves.

@Emilio Garcia: thanks Emilio!! :) yes i haven't been on am3 for a good amount of time now -- need some time to do some other things and make some changes!! these horses are always so gorgeous -- they make my heart beat fast, and that is strange as horses don't interest me in general... but these miniature horses with the wonderful long hairdos are just wonderful!!! and so friendly too!! this one was especially into me petting him w/ my orange gloved hands!! :)

How gorgeous... my nephew just got back from Iceland... flew there for only $400 he loved it... I am jealous... I am going to have to head there I think... what if I were to quit work and just travel :)

@Fliss: yes there is a price break -- starting at 400 bucks from the east coast... trying to get people to visit to help remedy the financial crisis! :) a very good time to go! yes -- quit your job... and just drift across the planet! what a faaabulous life that would be! x
