a Golden Reverie, Jokulsarlon (Happy New Year!!!)

i am posting this in participation of Sandy's 'INTER-FAITH HOLIDAY CHALLENGE'!! although, i myself am rather 'agnostic', i do believe that all humans share some basic fundamentals: needs, ideals for freedom and happiness and even more than those -- symbolism. therefore to celebrate the ringing in of 2009, i present 'light' in all its magnificent qualities: to light up our lives that we may see to work & enjoy ourselves, to amaze with new ways of seeing, to render us speechless through infinite color diversification, to glorify nature, to purify waters and aid agriculture, but most importantly -- to light up the general darkness of everyday human life and help us navigate safely home to our families, friends and loved ones.
light in its many uses and muses is a moment by moment phenomenon -- something we can all lovingly share, take pleasure in, derive emotional comfort from, wait graciously for each day as well as give us something to believe in, symbolically. it is at each and every moment of occurrence an element of power, warmth, wisdom and guidance. therefore, may all those here at Am3 and beyond be bathed in unending, divine and miraculous light for 2009!!! may it light up your eyes, your lives, your spirits and allow you to live, prosper and continue taking creative and magnificent photos of your personal and marvelous experiences great and small!!! happy new year -- one and all!!! :)
unfortunately i am not around today to comment on your blogs -- i am in Las Vegas celebrating the new year with friends!! i will catch up with you all next week!! all the best to you and yours!!
