Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Iceland (Panorama)Posted by dj.tigersprout (New York City, United States) on 22 December 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. this was really the sole reason i returned to Iceland -- the one thing i had wanted to see with my own eyes -- the one thing i could dream about, but the one thing i missed seeing on my first trip in 2007. finally i was here, finally i was seeing what the creme de la creme of savvy international travelers were talking about... Jokulsarlon broke my heart and forged a new and quintessential depth in my soul at the same time. i will never forget this day, and i certainly will return, over and over again, that my sprit can relive this unforgettable moment in this astounding location. pristine Icelandic beauty, 6 hours out of Reykjavik -- and one of the true 'modern' wonders of the world... to see this with your own eyes is to be alive completely... to forfeit nothing and regain an unmistakeable reverence for natural beauty. oh Jokulsarlon, i must return to you!!! all work protected by Creative Commons
