View Across A Dry Lakebed, Wadi RumPosted by dj.tigersprout (New York City, United States) on 10 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural. Well, i was going to do some writing -- it has been awhile since i have written... but i got home too late (i was having a most excellent discussion with a taxi driver) and ended up sitting in the taxi cab after i had arrived home for another 40 minutes!!! so sorry, no writing tonight... will see if i can get to it tomorrow then!!! ;) this here is a mystical view from the top of a huge red sand dune, out and across a dry, salty lakebed... the sands in this area were magnificently red and orange... in the distance a gigantic dust storm was brewing... it would eventually cover most of Jordan and Israel!! luckily our driver kept us just in front of the approaching storm... so we always had clean, fresh air and wonderful visibility for picture taking!! more to come!!! all work protected by Creative Commons
