Looking Back... (the Road to Chena)Posted by dj.tigersprout (New York City, United States) on 30 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. taken just before heading over the rise that will bring us to the outskirts of Fairbanks, here is a glimpse looking back down the long and gently winding road to Chena. what awesome weather for experiencing Alaska -- perfect for walking, hiking, climbing, camping, fishing, boating, biking... - perfect to sit around a fire til late in the night talking... smelling the wonderful scent of pine and relishing the hot crackle of wooden coals... - perfect for star gazing and aurora watching with a warm sweater and gloves... - perfect in every way! stay tuned tomorrow for this same view taken last December in the eerie winter twilight -- what a difference! all work protected by Creative Commons
