Corso w/ Norfolk Pines, Manly Beach, AustraliaPosted by dj.tigersprout (New York City, United States) on 12 June 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. My favorite city in Australia, handsdown, is Sydney. And my favorite place to spend my time when in Sydney is the small northern beachtown of Manly. And one of my favorite things about Manly (and there are many) is that there are beautiful Norfolk Pines planted all up and down the main ocean beach as well as along the numerous waterfront footpaths that curve along the sides of the bay. These trees simply stun me speechless with their magnificence everytime i see them...!! Of course to have them lining the already breathtakingly turquoise waters makes life (in all its grandeur and misery) completely worth living. :) Here is a shot of the entrance to the world famous, Manly Beach, taken just at the end of the corso that runs through town. Towering high above and providing a most useful 'framing' for this capture are the elegant Norfolk Pines. all work protected by Creative Commons
