View From Inside the Shop (Nudie Jeans, Sydney)Posted by dj.tigersprout (New York City, United States) on 11 June 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. While visiting old university friends in Paddington, Sydney last month, I stopped into Nudie Jeans as an acquaintance of mine owns and runs the meticulous shop. Unfortunately he was out running errands, so while i was having a quick look around the place i realized that there was something quite interesting happening out the front window. The shop attendant mentioned that a film crew had been preparing for some sort of ECO Car commercial all morning and were putting the finishing touches on the scene. With my camera handy from shooting all morning i captured this still of the model car (made out of grass) roughly lining up the shot between the wall and the corner of the window pane. It wasn't til i got back to SF that i noticed the actual details of the shot: the amnesty international advert written on the window... the reflection of shirts for sale, and the various positions and details of the film crew and the collection of curious bystanders outside. all work protected by Creative Commons
