@Ljubo: Thanks! 1000 years ago, much of southern Jordan was covered by a shallow sea. Now, the are hundreds of these 'lakebed' imprint flats between and underneath the dunes and rocky outcrops.

@Calusarus: Thanks Frederic -- yes, i love this shot... when i was standing there, i must have looked at this dry lakebed for at least 10 minutes... just tracing all the natural lines and cracks... it was captivating!
This is just amazing, one of my favorites here... Great!
